About Roger Daly
Professor Roger Daly is currently Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Head of the Biomedicine Discovery Institute Cancer Program at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He oversees Australia’s largest and leading Biochemistry Department, which provides a research-intensive environment and outstanding resources and infrastructure in areas such as structural biology, molecular and cellular imaging, MS-based proteomics, functional genomics, bioinformatics and computational network biology. Professor Daly is an internationally recognized expert in growth factor receptor signaling and its deregulation in cancer. Over the last 5 years, he has established cutting-edge technology platforms in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and kinomics that have been successfully applied to the characterization of cancer signaling networks, resulting in the increased identification of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
