My beautiful Mama has been a caregiver to my Dad dealing with Prostate Cancer not once but twice. My Dad was first diagnosed in 2008 and surgery was an option that time. The cancer came back in 2017 just a few weeks after my Dad retired. He had to undergo so many rounds of radiation and he was so sick. Everyone always says that chemo is worse than radiation but I bet my Dad would disagree. He had so many side effects and he was miserable. My mom took wonderful care of him, and she hardly complained. My mom is strong and tough and she doesn’t like to show emotions. She is so selfless. I seem to be struggling with words but the truth is…. just aren’t enough to tell you how amazing she is. My Dad has beaten cancer twice and my family is blessed to have such great parents!
