About Tiffany H.
Well I’m sending this in honor of my mother who cares for my father who is currently going through prostate cancer. About 3-4 years ago we found out my father had Prostate cancer he had his prostate removed also a few lymph nodes that were positive and then did radiation. Well a couple of years later the prostate cancer came back to the rest of the lymph nodes in his stomach area and now has moved to 3 small spaces on his bones. He is currently now taking 2 different types of chemo to treat this cancer and hopefully put him into remission again. But my mom has been with him every step of the way. She goes to all his appointments and his chemo appointments. She’s there for when he’s throwing up, or is to weak to walk by himself. She has health problems of her own but that all takes a back seat to be there for him. For the past eight years my parents have been put through the ringer. Eight years ago they lost a son at 29 years old shot and killed. To a couple of years later getting told my dad had cancer. Then to top it all off they even lost their house, because of my dad not being able to work because of this cancer. So they have been through it all and they are still there for each other. My mom is the rock for my dad right now. She is always by his side to help him with whatever he needs. They deserve something good to happen to them. Because they both have been through hell together. My dad has already gone through one round of chemo that just slowed down his psa levels. When he took a few weeks off that’s when we found that it had spread. He currently now gets 2 chemo treatments back to back because one just isn’t a enough. His levels hasn’t started dropping yet. My mom is so stressed out, but she hides her pain of what my dad is going through. She cry’s when she’s by herself so she won’t upset my dad. My mom is there for the good, the bad, and the ugly. She deserves something good. Because it’s been nothing but 8 years of bad things happening to our family. Their names are Dean and Vickie Sink.
