I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 40 years old and after 16 chemo treatments. Double mastectomy and complete hysterectomy, I then had 33 radiation treatments and had reconstructive surgery. While I am in ongoing treatment my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had his prostate removed and is currently going thru 48 rounds of radiation treatment all the while we raise a 4, 9, 14 and 16 year old children.
