About Jeffrey G
I am a physician. When I learned I had a Gleason eight prostate tumor, I turned to a gifted urologic cancer surgeon Dr. Francis McGovern at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. McGovern has performed 4,200 of these procedures – suprapubic nerve sparing radical prostatectomy – and has evolved a very definitive and punctilious process of preparation and education. Most importantly, he brings extraordinary skill and sympathy. I was operated on on Friday; I am currently six days postop, and he called me over the weekend and slowly and carefully went through my status. His office is in touch. I am overwhelmed by the personal and continual contact as well a skill and compassion of this extraordinary physician and surgeon.
