My husband, best friend, father to our daughters and all round great person kept peeing. He would get up during the night. He would have a couple beers but would be in the loo a lot. To be expected in your 50s or 60s but he was 43 when he was diagnosed. I pushed him to go to our doc, he was sent for investigation, psa score was high, biopsy was taken and small amount of cells were found. Decision was made for surgery. When removed a third of his prostate was infected. Without this quick diahnosis and treatment we could have lost him.
