About Megan P.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my lymph nodes and my ovaries. I didn’t really have symptoms other than feeling full right after eating. I was diagnosed just weeks after my 40th birthday. My husband has been my primary caregiver. We have 2 kids. 8 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter. They just knew Mommy had yucky stuff in her belly had surgery and needed medicine. My husband was there for me every step of the way. I had surgery-full hysterectomy because we thought it was ovarian cancer-and my doctor found a mass in my colon so part of that was removed too. He helped me after surgery and then thru 12 rounds of chemo. I could never have gotten thru this without him.
