My name is Ann Partridge and I want to tell you my story about my parents. Ever since I can remember, my day had cancer.  My mom always took care of my father.  While he was fighting this battle in December 2005, my dad was in remission, then in January 2006 the cancer came back and hit every organ in his body. Weeks later he was put on hospice. Me and my mother did everything we could to keep him comfortable. Then February 26, 2006 my dad passed away.  To this day I think about my father.  My mom is a strong person but years later she faced the same battle. The man she loved was diagnosed with cancer and she had to fight this battle again and watch another person she loved and cared about fight this horrible disease. He lost his fight and died 4 months ago. My mom does everything she can to help someone that is sick, especially dealing with this disease.  It has struck my family too many times and I think she deserves to be nominated.
