Hello there,

Our journey has just begun! My husband Matt was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December 2018 at the age of 45. We’ve spent the last couple months talking to doctors and weighing out his options on what happens next after the shock of diagnosis.

At this point in time, I am an emotional caregiver, as of March 5, 2019 I will become his physical caregiver as well. The choice has been made to proceed with robotic nerve sparing prostatectomy. From the day of his high PSA score, Matt has become a huge advocate for prostate testing. I’m so proud of him for putting his story out there!

Matt and I have been married for almost 13 yrs , together for 18. I am 52 and through these 18 yrs he has lovingly seen me through two hip replacements due to rheumatoid arthritis. The first happening just months after we met. He has been my caregiver through thick and thin, and there is no one I’d rather stand side by side with during this next journey we take together.

I love this man with all that I have! He is and always will be, my one “True Love!”
