About Michele O.
My husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in April 2017. Of course, because we are overachievers he had the highest Gleason score and the most aggressive cancer. His surgery to remove his prostate was in June 2017. I went to every doctors appointment with him, he was not going through this alone. In Dec 2017 his PSA came back high again, the cancer was still there, he started radiation in Jan 2018 and did that for eight weeks. He did not take one day off of work even though he could have. He works standing for 12 hours on the night shift. He would get home at 7am and head to the hospital for his appointment, I honestly don’t know how it did other than share will to survive. He has been cancer free since the radiation. His and my life are forever changed because of cancer. We are both positive thinking people and we love to joke about everything. We made it through because of our love, our positive outlooks, and our laughter. He is a survivor and this only made us stronger together!
