I would love to honour my wife as a true caregiver. Her dad passed away 11/11/2018, her dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2015/16, she attended every appointment, every treatment she was more than just a daughter to him but also best friend, mother. She did it all alone, the last 3 weeks of her father’s life she helped wash him, she massaged his hands and feet, held his hand ran around and did everything he asked if it was going to get him a drink or just rushing back to hospital if he had some bad news. All through his treatment she would finish work at 10:30pm some nights and rush straight to him to help him take his medication or to just sit with him if he didn’t want to be alone. She went above and beyond and the fact she did it solo on her own I have so much respect for her.
