My name is Tristan W. and I’m a full time caregiver in WA. My client was born with Down syndrome, and was diagnosed with both dementia and Prostate cancer. He cannot walk and requires 24 hour care. I’m with him 40+ hours a week and I take him to all his appointments and shopping. Even with his health problems, he’s great to work with. He’s (almost) always happy and laughing, joking around and being goofy with staff and other clients; it’s a very rewarding job. That being said it can also be a very stressful job, and I think it’s amazing you guys are giving both me and my fellow caregivers the recognition we deserve and have worked hard to earn. Thank you
