PCF and New PSA Featured on TODAY
Look ma, we’re on TV! This Friday, January 25th, 2019, PCF was featured on TODAY. Why you ask? Well, it’s not just because we are the world’s leading prostate cancer research organization or that we’re celebrating 25 years of saving men’s’ lives. Okay, okay, we’ll stop bragging. The truth is: we’re visiting TODAY because we want to make sure men from all across the country are reminded to get screened for prostate cancer.
We know prostate cancer screening is no man’s favorite topic so we teamed up with TODAY to create a public service announcement that proves to men there are… worse things. So, get ready to watch Al Roker and Craig Melvin on the small screen all month long as we work together to educate men and their families on the importance of prostate cancer screening.
For current prostate cancer patients, we also have exciting news to share –– the release of PCF’s 2019 Prostate Cancer Patient Guide, which is available for FREE at pcf.org. If you have a previous version of the Prostate Cancer Patient Guide, we still strongly encourage you to check out the 2019 edition. Within this year’s edition, you’ll find the most up to date information on prostate cancer treatments, medical breakthroughs, and research discoveries.
Here at the Prostate Cancer Foundation, we are always here for you. What’s most exciting about this segment and public service announcement is all of the new eyes and ears who will tune in and get this life-saving information. Thank you all for your continuous support as we push for a cure so that no more men will die of prostate cancer.
