My First Day was in April 1971. my brother Mark and I were 7 and 5.  Dad took us to Candlestick park to see the Giants and Cubs.  I knew enough about baseball to know Willie Mays was a big deal.  He homered and and the Giants won.  We went home with full sized bats given out on bat day.  We abused those bats for years to come!

Dad survived prostate cancer but succumbed  to dementia  way too soon.

Today we are Mariner fans.  The love of the game has been passed on to another generation.  The best sporting event I have ever experienced was with my daughter Sarah.  We enjoyed a daddy daughter game before she went back East for college.  Together we witnessed Felix’s perfect game from the King’s Court!

We continue to enjoy the games and cherish the perfect memories.
