I lost my Dad, Richard L. Manheimer, to prostate cancer in 1994. He was 54 years old. For his 49th birthday my Mom surprised him (because you’d expect something big for your 50th birthday, not your 49th!) by sending him to Dream Week with his beloved Cincinnati Reds. We had season tickets & Dad took us to every home game the Reds played. I grew up with The Big Red Machine. You’ve never seen anyone as happy as my Dad when he talked about being part of Dream Week, and when he got to walk out on the field at Riverfront Stadium with the rest of the Dream Week team. He said he never hurt so bad (it was a work out for him!) or had such a good time.

Thank you so much for what you do, and trying to hep more men stay in the game.

Sincerely,

Lisa S. Heinichen
