I’m writing in for my mother, Carmelita Duarte. My dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer coming up on three years this March. We count our blessings that my dad is cancer free and while there were some minor complications during his surgery he is living a healthy life now. My mom would take care of him round the clock on top of going to work and teach a classroom full of 5 year olds! She never complained only did what needed to be done. It’s a testimate to their almost 46 years of marriage. If ever she was worried or concerned during the whole process she never showed it. I love my parents more than anything and admire their love and admiration for each other.
