About Jack

My father was diagnosed in October of 2017 while on a trip traveling in his RV in another state (New Mexico). He thought he had the flu, but unfortunately it ended up being Prostate cancer. Once diagnosed, my sister and uncle drove him to California to be close to us (he lives in Washington state). He moved in with me right away and my sister and I tend to his every need. My sister is my rock and takes him to all his appointments and we do this together. My dad just finished his third round of chemo and is preparing for surgery (God willing) in 3 or so weeks. The chemo has been very hard on him. The surgery is going to be a huge operation due to where the tumor is. We have found a great surgeon and have a great team working with us.
