I was diagnosed 3 years ago and had robotic surgery to have my prostate removed. No one realizes how hard it is to bounce back from this cancer. My wife was my inspiration and my rock. She cared for me day and night and still worked full time. There were so many days that I was giving up but she would not let me. I had many complications from surgery and the worst was the leakage. I had four surgeries to correct this problem and three years later I am back. If it was not for my wife giving me the strength to fight and fight hard I would not be the man I am again. I am a retired police detective and thought I was tough but there is no one tougher and stronger than my wife. I love her more than anything.
