Callie
About Callie
I had stage 3 large B cell lymphoma. I thought My husband was supporting me but found out connecting emotionally with another during it. We ended up divorcing after 21 years of marriage. I was broken. Truly harder than the Cancer. But…. my daughter who was in 4th grade now a senior took over. A lot of weight on her. After he left she helped me with her little sister 6 years younger. I had to leave for work at 5 am and with my ex gone the youngest was scared when I left and Callie (at that time, probably 12 when he left) had her 6 year old sister crawl in bed with her. When I was tired due to treatments leaving me fatigue had me sleep and help with her sister. When I was sad and in depression from her dad leaving….held me. I totaled our car twice from
A foggy mind and depression from him leaving. She grew up fast. I had some more procedures and she cleaned the wounds I could not do alone. She is a senior in high school now and going on to school to be a nurse. I can’t afford to pay for her college but she is smart and figuring it out. Her dad was the main income and I stayed home. I am trying to support us with jobs I can do.
She had to do more than a child should and we had up and downs between us….. she is my inspiration and hero. She is such a gift from God. She took over when the person who should of been lifting me left… she stepped in. I love her forever and always.
