About Bob P

I care for my husband Bob. He is 75 years old, and still works as an attorney in his own legal office. He practices real estate, estate planning, and corporate law. Along with being his wife, I also work a few days a week as his secretary. We’ve lived in the same home for over 30 years. It’s the home where we raised our daughter. Bob had his second chemo treatment today and his prostate removed close 15 years ago. I fill his prescriptions, help him with a persistent rash he’s developed from various treatments, and arranged for him the two of us to with my sorority sister monthly as we drive up to Marina Del Rey (near LA) to see his doctor. He is the love of my life and has stayed strong dealing with the side effects of the various medications used to combat his cancer. It is hard to see him emotional and down about his situation, but he makes the best of it. We travel to San Francisco monthly to see our 3 grandchildren, who include a set of three year old twins, and my daughter and her husband who work in tech at Slack and Uber. I’m his rock, and I’m cherishing this time with him.
