During Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the West Angeles Church Brotherhood jointly present: “How Much Do You Know About Prostate Cancer?” This in-person meeting will center on raising awareness about prostate cancer among high-risk populations, discuss early detection, the latest research and treatment options, survival, risk factors, and lifestyle choices.

Uniquely designed to be a community-centered event in-person that will also have an online component with a reach to we hope thousands of congregants and local community members, we welcome you to attend. Mindful that prostate cancer disproportionately affects Black men and families, we will use this opportunity to amplify the latest news on prostate cancer disparities from physician scientists, researchers, and advocates in the prostate cancer community. The meeting is organized as a series of short presentations, a survivor’s panel, followed by an extended Q&A session.

This meeting will discuss:
  • Raising awareness about prostate cancer among high-risk populations
  • Early detection
  • The latest research and treatment options
  • Survival, risk factors, and lifestyle choices
